Operating range
Leadership and hands-on work across financial, operational, product, people, and systems responsibilities.
Darien Sherman
An independent examiner and systems repair architect for business conditions that cross the ordinary boundaries of finance, operations, software, and management.
Why this practice
Two decades of operating, managing, examining, and improving businesses created a practical range across accounting, finance, product, operations, process engineering, software, automation, human resources, and organizational management.
The practice exists for conditions where that range matters: accounting can establish its records, operations can explain its work, software can demonstrate that it functions—and management still cannot obtain one defensible account of the business.
The objective is not to perform every specialty. It is to reconstruct the condition across its real boundaries, identify what must be owned by whom, and design a correction that remains usable after the engagement closes.
Practical footing
Leadership and hands-on work across financial, operational, product, people, and systems responsibilities.
Computer science, software development, workflow automation, data relationships, testing, and implementation fluency.
Accounting operations, management reporting, reconciliation, controls, and Advanced Gold Level QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor expertise as capability—not brand identity.
Bilingual, cross-cultural, independent, evidence-led, discreet, and deliberately low in meeting overhead.
Practice character
A low-risk first step
A short written brief is enough to establish whether a bounded review may be useful.
